This was jubilee 5th edition of SUPer Surfers Challenge Poreč-Lanterna event. On Saturday we had traditional 14,5 long distance race, where fantastic Davide Ionico and grate Laura Bartl took 1st places on podium. Let’s start from the start. Bora wind stopped right on time and traditionally on 11:00 we started the race from Valamar Isabella island resort in front of beautiful Istrian city of Poreč. Weather was promising just for 15 minutes than Tramontana wind start to growth and how the race progress wind become stronger with waves up to 1,5 meter high. That become most demanding SSC Poreč-Lanterna race in 5 years. That because we pay special tribute to all competitors who left their heart & soul on 14,5 km long battle field. That makes their results even more valuable than ever in past of that race. This is Elite report and Amateur will come tomorrow.
